I was lifting just a sec ago and when I placed my weights down....I ran into my kitchen and ended up hitting my toes on those weights. It's basically 85% off.

Besides watching out for infection...what do you guys think I should do? It's probably not serious enough for the hospital right?

I just want my toe to grow back and I assume it's going to take months.

Has this happened to anyone? If it has...can you please tell me what you did?

I just taped it with sports tape and a tiny bit of filling in between. It hurts like fuck. Probably cant eve wear shoes for awhile.

Am I good? Just wait It out and wait for it to completely fall off?

I would love your thoughts on this. I run 6 days a week and I can't even walk without clenching my teeth. I feel like a bitch.

Also, what should I do about all that blood under the nail? It hurts too much to fuck with, so should I just let it dry out?

Only thing you really have to worry about is an infection.
Change the sports tape and wash it daily until it grows back.

just go to your GP and have him deal with it, probably have to have it pulled out, usually grows back in 3 or so months, but obviously fungal infections will occur if leave it for too long

Bacterial will occur before fungal.

Man this just ruined my night. I don't want to go at all but I'm afraid of infections and all that crap.

Post a picture of it if you can, if you want just give it a good clean tonight and go to your GP in the morning, if you have some antiseptic cream or bactroban use that, but obviously none of us are doctors/have the ability to assess it so it so I'd probably lean on the safe side and have it checked out

i want a picture as well.

i dropped a can of pop on my toes once. smashed 2 of the nails clean in half. had to rip them off because they kept getting snagged on my socks.
other then that just let it sit in a small container of hydrogen peroxide. it will set a temporary scab that wards off infections.
E/ dunno if you've every used hydrogen peroxide before but it hurts... A Lot
