I'm part of the "deadlift and squat for abs crew" but I would like to add some core work. Just curious what your favorite core exercises are?

I really like hanging leg raises (though I suck at them) and ab cable crunch.

Hanging leg raises is by far my favorite and most effective.

I've squatted and deadlifted a full year with an abs tear. I doubt your squat and deadlift alone are close to stimulate your abs as much as you think.

Try something brutal like ab wheels combined with planks or gymnastic.

Jordan Hill's stomach destroyer routine
look it up on youtube
took me from 1-pack to 6-pack in a couple of months

also like some hanging leg raises at the end of my workouts

Squats and dls work more of the inner wall and pelvic floor.

Throw in some weighted dB sit ups imo. And maybe a few sets of obliques twice a week

Yea that's why I made this topic, I want to add in abdominal work just don't know what exercises.

Ab wheel is hard, I'll try that out.
