Starting off at 3100 calories a day, going to monitor it over the next few weeks and make adjustments accordingly.
Starting weight is ~182 lbs. at 6'1.

Wish me luck.

Post up some starting pics. You've gotta be roughly where I'm at. And technically I guess I'm starting my bulk now

I'll take some starting pics either tonight or tomorrow morning.

I'm not as low fat as I would hope, but I think I destroyed my metabolism by trying to cut the past year. I've been stuck at 180-182 for too long now with no change.
Time to switch it up and try to bulk for a bit, then in a few months resume a proper cut. I think I dropped too drastically too quickly last time.

haha know that feel so well... got a 6 pack, then binged and lost control like a month later :(
after your bulk just do a nice slow cut

I did something similar I guess

Went from like 218 down to 170 and then bulked back up to 215 and I'm now hovering around 190...trying to get lower. My first cut was stupid fast and my first hulk (from 170 to 215) was stupid fast also. So I'm now trying to correct it by slow cutting until I'm shredded and then slow bulk until I'm shredded and huge.

Everyone is different but I'd like to share what works for me and that has some scientific validity.

I do what are called mini bulk and mini cut sessions. Per Layne Norton, the majority of fat loss occurs in the initial in the first few weeks of a cut and slowly staggers, larger muscle gains are made in the initial weeks of a bulk as well. Instead of going on these long bulks and long cuts, try shorter cuts and bulks. My bulk sessions usually last about 6 weeks and I cut for 4, so there's no real need to have two sets of clothes for those monster bulks and monster cuts.

Of course I bet a ton of people will disagree with me but it works for me and there is some scientific evidence to support what I'm doing. Gl though, will track your post I'd love to see your progress.

Isn't that someone along the lines of like the culking phases? Small cut/bulk cycles?

Might be worth trying to give it a go.
