nice
they wouldnt let me back in, prior rookie marine here. my enlistment code is fuuuuarked.
also, good luck. I wish i could join again. It beats civilian life by a million, now that im single again. I mean the only point of civilian life for me was love. Never liked being a civilian besides having a woman to love and share your life with.
But really, good luck. take advantage of the GI bill and go to college, come out and be a baller with big savings and college already done and apply for a top paying civilian job. Find a woman and settle down. The American dream, my friend. That is mine. I have totally messed up my chance though. Dont mess up yours.
Military life is so much better and actually have some guidelines, it is really sucky on the political side doh. Dont let it bring you down. Stay strong. Make it, be someone who lives the American dream one day.
(that is if america is still here later on)
did you have an honorable discharge?
im going to have an engineering job (probably construction) in the army reserves since im going into civil engineering it can give me some on hands work experience that i think will help on my resume.
Im definately going to do 16 more years in the reserves because you cant beat a $2k/month pension at 38 years old ontop of my masters degree in civil engineering. ill be able to afford so much fg
