Ive been going to the gym for over a year now and I have managed to notice quite a bit of improvement in my strength and muscle size.
The thing is that ive never payed any attention to abs so they are starting to look a bit weird. With this is dont mean that I look fat or anything just that most of my muscles (shoulders, arms, legs...) look like they have been worked out in the gym but my core looks like it hasnt.
So I have decided to start working on the 6 pack dream. I know this takes ages and a lot of dedication and I am not expecting to see results straight away.
Ive been doing some research on the internet and apparently everybody has a "6 pack" but in most cases it is covered by a layer of fat hence why they are not shown. I have read that what you need to do is: do specific exercises for abs like crunches, sit ups, leg raises, planks etc and also watch your diet and cut on calories.
The thing is that since I started going to the gym a year ago Ive been trying to gain weight (taking in more calories than required) which is just the opposite of what I need to get nice abs.
What should I do?
Thanks in advance.
e: Sorry if ive explained myself badly, english is not my native language.
