Biking 8 miles, running 2 immediately

Biking 8 running 2 immediately

Biking 9 running 2.2


As riding 25 then running 6.2 ?

After 4 miles non stop running my hips start throbbing and tightening.

work your way up slowly with running long distance

I'm saying if I run 6.2 miles non stop my legs and hips start bothering me.

I have a triathlon in two weeks.

I'm wondering if instead of biking 25 and running 6.2 ( which is what the triathlon calls for) I could do a training circuit where I run 2 miles and bike 8 miles x3

Do 3 sets of 8mile bike 2 mile run. So my hips/joints aren't so sore on race day

If the biking is the easy part you should work on running
