Not sure if this helps answer your question... but a big thing with lifting with the glutes is you need to make sure you are ACTiVATiNG the glutes, When you are doing Back squat, front squat, or deadlifts, make sure you are squeezing and using the glutes. Just because the lift for most people uses glutes, does not mean you are activating them for that lift.

how can you squat without using your glutes, its like trying to bench without using your pecs

by not activating them, have you ever seen a dive bomber that bounces out of the hole?

I'm not saying you will not use your glutes 100%, but you will be using them minimal which will just make you more quad dominant and your body will be use to just using quads rather then glutes.


same concept could be used in bench, if you have a huge bounce off the chest an are a narrow bencher it would be tricep dominant rather than the pecs.

/e I got this while I was at the otc from a very well known massage therapists that was observing our training sessions. You guys make it hard to want to post here at all...
