Hi all, let me start off by introducing myself. Well, I used to troll and hang around here a few years ago every once and awhile, but lately the H&F aspect of my life had gone to shit. Here's a little back story of who I am..

My names Kyle, and from the ages of about 7 till I was 19, I was fat.. And when I say fat, I mean look twice fat. My highest weight right after high school was 396 lbs. I was looking at a future of health issues unless I changed it immediately. I woke up one day with a sudden urge to better myself, and I decided to get a gym membership. Over the course of the next 1.5 years, I went from a staggering weight of almost 400 lbs down to 186 lbs. I went from not even being able to do a single push up, to the point where I was super setting pull-ups and pushups. I joined the navy just because I could at that point, and served this country well.

Now being out of the Navy for 1.5 years or so, I've come to the realization "well, the scale told me" that I'm getting fucking fat again, 268 lbs to be exact.. Eating like shit again, not being quite as active as I should be... I need to change, so I am.

This h&f blog is for me to post my weekly logs I'm making. Here's a quick glimpse of my workout routine.

-20 minute cardio session "10 min LISS, 5 min HIIT, 5 min LISS"
-20 min body weight training "pushups, lunges, squats etc" split in half by 5 minute session of HIIT
-20 min core "planks, situps, crunches"

Current measurements and mile time

Weight: 264
Height: 5'10
Waist: 44
Chest: 50
Mile time: 10:30

I plan on following this workout till I'm around 200 lbs, than my weight training will start back up.

My original progression, final pic was taken 1 week before bootcamp

I'll post more current pic once my phone is charged up.

Encouragement is welcome.

E: I'll update with my diet later as well..

Well man you did it once you can dam sure do it again. You already found that you had the willpower before so you just got to get out there and run and watch what you eat.

You've done it before you can do it again. Although don't let that make you think it will be any easier this time round. gl

I had a huge pimple... So bad, people thought I had got into a fist fight, so the only way to hide edgar "his name", was a clown nose.

Just got back from the gym, did straight cardio, no strength training today.

30 min cardio with some core training.

E: My diet is usually set up the following way

Breakfast: 1 cup greek yogurt mixed with fruits and honey
Snack: 1 serving almonds
Lunch: Lean meat, veggie and starch
Snack: Cheese stick "Sharp Cheddar"
Dinner: Lean meat and veggie

All I drink is a cup of black coffee in the AM and water.
I'm trying to keep my calories around a 500-700 deficit.
