Just say you're doing 65lb db inc chest press will u just do 3x8-10 and rest 1:00-1:30 and use 65s for all 3 sets or go 65,60,55 with 15-30 sec rests?

who dafuq rests for 15 seconds
60-90s for all hyp, some heavier comp sets can have 120s
str can vary 3-5m+

Ok, tyvm! I was training with a few of my bodybuilder friends most of them on roids some compete, and thats how they trained like 10 sec rests and lower the weifhts every set, thx for the advice though

you wouldn't lift half a pound after 2-3 sets with that kind of rest period, no matter what you're on.

That's a variation of HIT, popularized by Mike Mentzer. You don't have the workload capacity to make workouts like that effective. Just stick to a 60-90 sec rest period.

1-2 mins most of the time but theirs been times when I had to rest for 3-4 mins
