Even if you finished the lift it wouldn't count. Bouncing the bar doesn't even count as a rep. Obv don't need a competition level pause, but at least slow the bar down.

Not to mention the weight isn't even touching your chest. In competition the weight has to STOP on your chest and be motionless before you get the press command. Obviously you aren't going to do that all the time in the gym but the idea is the same... show absolute control.

e/ I can force 275 up with lots of momentum/bounce in the gym fairly easily but with a complete pause I hit ~255-260 in comp.
