just don't completely deprive her of carbs, that can also be hazardous.

low gi foods, high fat medium protein (0.5g/lb is usually fine for older women). but i'd suggest to seek RD's help on this one.

Goods with a low glycemic index, uncontrolled diabetes can lead to diabetic neuropathy, diabetic foot, diabetic retinopathy, pretty much any disease that is caused by decreased plasma viscosity and extra stickiness of blood, meaning any peripheral areas in the body will be affected (i.e. foot, retina.) so as mentioned above, low GI foods, google them, diets high in veggies, meats, etc. Some fruits have a high GI so watch out for those.

and make sure she's checking her blood sugar levels regularly, is she on oral hypoglycemics or what?

she takes shots of insulin atleast once a day the doctor sead if she loses weight she can go back to oral medication

the doctor basicly sead she let her blood presure blood sugar get out of controll and she needs to be on a low fat, sugar, carb, salt diet she can have some but just not alote i guess

she just turned 50 anyway i she rlly upset having to cut out all her favoret foods etc and ofc like anyone would be shes a little stressed about it

i just want to make it more barrable for her and im going to try to eat the same things as her so she does not see me eating like all the good shit while she has to eat crappy food :(
