RIP gains, won't be able to work or lift for 2-3 weeks
Back in December of 2013 I had a big bump on my tail bone, it ended up exploding and blood / pus was constantly coming out for a few days so I decided to go to the doctors.. found out it was a pilonidal cyst :\
nonetheless got surgery on it and bill was around $6,500, but we met all of our deductables so should have only owed $75 to hospital and that was clarified before i got surgery done, been fighting with insurance company for them to pay the money ever since after they lied about paying it on multiple occasions right after the surgery happened

well the cyst is back and have to get surgery again on the 29th .. of course the shit with insurance company isn't sorted out yet so i'm probably going to be in a world of annoyance as if i wasn't already annoyed enough being on the phone for 1-2 hours a week with them for the last 6 months

for those who hasn't experienced or seen this cyst first hand on a friend or anything.. it fucking sucks, blood / pus in the anus region on the constant which leads to chafing which hurts like a mother fucker

it bothers me that insurance companies have the audacity to try to get out of delivering on their products

after 5 months of annoyance they ended up saying my parents weren't allowed to look at anything since i'm over 18 even though my dad is the subscriber, nonetheless they had to give me papers to sign to allow my parents to look at everything and be able to talk to them about paying the money.. paper was confusing and nothing straight forward as to saying "i'm allowing these people to blah blah blah" so we called them to ask how to sign it, unfortunately they had no clue either

so we signed what we thought was needed and they ended up sending it back saying it was wrong, now can take up to 30 days for a response lol.. it truly is stupid how they try to scurry away from it

they don't make enough money, so let's make the 19 year old making $12/hr pay a $6,500~ bill  even when they are supposed to pay it, kind of the whole point of insurance right?
