about me: i'm currently a 27 years old, 5'8" and a 155 lbs. i've been lifting about 10 years off and on. i have a bachelors of science in biology as well as 2 additional years invested into health requirements for a doctorate program i'm currently trying to get into. i started lifting purely for strength, and at my strongest benched 315, squatted 355, deadlifted 405 and military pressed 215. following a knee injury my goals shifted towards fitness goals. i'm currently training for a marathon, and am running/walking upwards of 70 miles a week.

oh and as for my tats: chest tattoo- a ceremonial dagger with three blades, each representing a tragedy. the center blade a direct tragedy, my mother committing suicide. the two side smaller blades indirect tragedies. first my father who took also took his own life. an indirect tragedy because he beat my mother senseless and is why she killed herself, so it's not his death that was a tragedy but because now i wont get a chance to kill him myself. the other indirect was my uncle who killed himself. i didn't know him, however he was my grandpa's son, and his death had a huge impact on him which was tragic. the top is me with wings rising above their influence. on the chest so i see it every day in the mirror to remind me. uniformity assures that when viewing it in a mirror it's not distorted and it's meaning is the same.
side tattoo says storey. my grandpas last name (technically my birth name but i was later adopted so my last name changed). my grandma died too young, and two of his sons killed themselves. he blamed himself and as a result saved all his money for what little family he had left. me and my four brothers got a large inheritance when he died. i made a promise to him that i'd quit doing drugs and would use his inheritance to go to college. my first day at university i got that tattoo to remind me of a noble man as well as a promise i made to him. that side tattoo got me through college during the tough times.
