What are you favourite on the go snacks or quick and easy mini meals to have pre or post gym?

I work long hours and have little time so making something quick and easy or eating in the car is ideal.

Pre workout is 2 blueberry muffins

Post workout is a shake + 2 bananas

Happy to hear all sorts of alternatives!

Salted caramel Grenade bar almost every day for the last few months as an early morning pre workout snack. Not getting sick of them like usual with protein bars.

Then when I get home from the gym, devour a fat peanut butter cinnamon honey sandwich.

Still doesn't count as breakfast - eggs and bacon.

I drink my calories if it's not a main meal (breakfast, lunch , dinner)


Its almost always some combination of yoghurt, milk, honey or dates, frozen fruit, bananas, eggs, sometimes oatmeal, sometimes cottage cheese tossed into the bullet.


If I don't drink it, you can have cottage cheese with anything, and add a bit of honey or blueberry syrup or something. I toss in a ton of fruit and granola and a bit of honey or other all the time for lunch some days if I need a quick lunch. Or have it with a bunch of peanut butter mixed in.
