I've been reading a lot about GLP-1 receptor agonists lately, especially their remarkable use for weight loss along with other benefits. Semaglutide and tirzepatide have been getting a lot of attention for their ability to impact metabolic health, appetite, and overall wellness. Obesity in the USA is finally decreasing!

Anyone with experience or insights?

They’re a great tool and are helping people with food addictions and portion control issues lose incredible weight.

can be good tool, if used properly.
but unfortunately 99% of it isn't being used the way its intended.

its a life long drug they're starting to prescribe for young children who are obese.

and the side effects and risks far outweigh the rewards, in MANY cases, not all.

typical western like medicine, not addressing root cause, and putting a band-aid on the issue.

Life long as in for diabetes treatment? I think it’s great in leveling the playing field as far as some people just having naturally bigger appetites. I know a few people on them and they find the sides minimal. Certainly a tool, but a great one imo.

I’ll look into. But being a healthy bodyweight is good for obvious reasons. Also emerging research in neuroprotective effects. Large reductions in liver fat. Inflammation reduction, improved insulin sensitivity, cardiovascular protection etc. have all been seen in studies.
