Weighted pullups underrated as hell. I never see anyone doing them at the gym but undoubtedly can make your back blow up. I've become a form psycho so generally don't add more then a plate anymore. Wouldn't mind going a good bit heavier and adding a couple of sets of dead hangs to the end of the workout.

They are good but i'm almost 40 and my tendinitis on my elbow and wrist will act up fast same goes with dips. The ice only helps so much as i don't like taking any drugs.

I think it's because they're just really hard, especially while keeping form plus you have to either be quite lean and very strong or be juicing hard.

But yeah weighted dips and weighted pull-ups are, barring the deadlift, the two most powerful upper body exercises

I only do two back exercises and its easily the most developed part of me. Deadlifts, and weighted chin ups and pull-ups. I don't do curls and my arms are pretty large from just weighted chinups.

I just treat it like any strength movement. 5x5s 3x3s, etc. I do body weight ones as part of conditioning with burpees, Iron Wolf style.
