raynor, what food should be completely avoided in a diet? besides pasta and bread

you don't have to avoid either...what kind of diet?

the only real food to AVOID when losing fat is sugar...and even then, PWO sugar is important (unless on keto)

I started Keto about 5 days ago starting to feel a little better was feeling rough for the first few days still feeling pretty hungry late on in the afternoon/evening but i can manage with that, and i was wondering with the 1st meal how important are the green veggies with the eggs? i can stomach the eggs/cheese in the morning just not the veg (ive been using green peppers) could i miss them out and just have more veg in the other meals to compensate? Also how long is Keto supposed to be done for (months wise before going back to a normal (ish) diet with some carbs..

And also i tried the cutting routine (6 days with equiptment) and i found i didnt really enjoy doing it as much as your 5x5 i was trying before, would it be ok if i substituted the 5x5 with the HIIT and Cardio instead of doing the cutting routine you sugested?

Hey there.

First of all, yes you can scrap the veggies with the eggs no problem.

Secondly, you can stay on keto for about 3 months at a time for cutting.

if you didn't like the cutting routine, that is fine to do the 5x5...but your strength will go down on keto.

Planning on trying a max on my deadlifts on Tuesday, I think my 1 rm is going to be ~405, could you tell me the best way to work up to it? Not really too good with the rep scheme when going for a max lol
