Hey Raynor,

I was wondering if some people are just naturally resiliant to gaining fat.  I see many individuals in the gym who workout and in order to gain muscle you MUST eat above your maintence, correct? How do these individuals maintain their lean bodys while still gaining weight?  I know many of them and they do little to no cardio.  Is it a genetic factor as well?

ABSOLUTELY. There are 3 types of bodies based on genetics. Some people gain fat easily but also muscle, some gain muscle easily but not fat, and others can't gain fat or muscle easily at all.

please read about it here:

No...basically you want to do this:

Day 1-6 (no carbs)
Day 7- carb up
Day 8-13 (no carbs)
Day 14 - carb up

and so forth.

No you should not immediately carb up if in deep ketosis before the 7th day. Just keep trucking along until the 7th day each week for optimal fat losses.

Gotcha Captain. Thanks again! Lightest I've ever been this morning! 211!

Hey there. You are welcome.

For the protein shakes - stick to the GRS-5, that seems to be a superior product. You would not neeed the CNP Pro Peptide.

Thats what i wanted too hear 2 of them work out cheaper than 1 CNP Pro Peptide!

As always Raynor Thank you

For pure strength you want to stick to a 5-day split that focuses on ONE major muscle group per day. That is the single most effective way.

To work on pullups you want to simply perform them frequently. Do 5 sets of maximum reps 3 days a week. Strive to increase your max reps by 1-2 each week. You can also use lat pulldowns to help build pullup strength

hmm okay thanks...

I actually think I'm going to have to switch to a cut soon, because I plan on getting a tummy tuck this january from my 100+ pound weight loss last year. Could you link me to a pretty good cutting diet and workout plan?

Thanks. I'm at 215 right now..I think I'd like to get to about 200 before my surgery

Abs Workout Routine

As far as cardio/core you really want to be swimming. Swimming is the only real "complete" workout that builds core rapidly and also burns a ton of calories.

How long should i swim for and how many times a week? ( i train 5x a week weights and at the end of every session i add abs now ) also what types of swimming is best for the abs? i can SLIGHTLY see all 6 abs ( the outline ) so just needtoo burn abit of fat and get them toned.
would swimming loose my muscle mass that i have already gained?

Swimming would not make you lose muscle mass unless you are not eating properly.

You should probably swim for 30 minutes a day, 4 days a week.
