Sorry i musta misread :P But i talked to pure and he suggests, to drop the bar and let it fall for each rep, cause putting it down slowly the risk of injury is far greater than any benefits youd get from doing negatives going down.

Better than hurt yourself i guess, when i tried to do negatives going down my back would round like a mother fucker, scared me.

Well, obviously when you're doing negatives while doing DL, it's because you're probably training hypertrophy, and thus using a much lighter weight.

Well, they're not huge, but at least from the front lower side, they look very good :)

As I said, they can have huge benefits for bodybuilding purposes. The negative phase is the one which induces most muscle growth, given it's the one which tears more muscle tissue. Iirc.

Of course, if you're focusing on strength, you simply want to take the bar off the ground.
