Hey..

I read through that article you linked me ( Creatine vs Kre Alkalyn )
But ive looked at product prices and Kre Alkalyn is alot more expencive and atm im not looking too spend that yet.. so that leaves me with creatine...

http://www.deepbluesupplements.com/department/creatine/sci-mx/product/sci-mx-creatine-monohydrate-250g/431505
Sci-MX Creatine monohydrate.

Obviously i know its not as good as Kre Alkalyn but does it work, ill jump on Kre Alkayln at some point but atm im abit short of $$

Hey there. What you didn't notice is that you need to be taking a LOT more creatine monohydrate compared to the kre alkalyn. Kre alkalyn is basically 4 capsules a day. The monohydrate is 20g a day for the first week, then 5g a day after that. So basically a 250g tub lasts 37 days. A 240 pill container of kre alkalyn lasts 60 days.

Calculate that into your price and you will see they are about the same.

So recently I bought these

http://www.quakeroats.com/products/oatmeal/quick-oats.aspx

Do I eat them how they come out of the box or do I make them into cereal?

For breakfast I'm thinking a serving of oats + protein shake for cutting purposes.

Read the directions on the box if you want to eat it hot. You are supposed to add them to boiling water and let them set until its soft and ready. However, you can add them dry into your protein shake without any problems also.

Great, I'll get right on that! :)

Another question
so ive been taking creatine for quite some while now...

i take 10g/day, though i keep hearing that 5g is all you need.

i take 5g pre and 5g post; do you think I should bring it down to 5g, like 5g first thing in the AM, or 5g pre, or maybe 5 post? OR 2.5g pre, 2.5g post...

let me know, thanks!

You should take 2.5 g pre and 2.5g post or just 5g pre OR post.

That would be fine.

For pre workout always go with caffeine by itself (like black coffee or plain caffeine pills).

Hiya

Did some leg today and I used a machine looking like

that
Had like 140lb on it (can easily do 220x12x5, normaly) just for warmup, and it felt like a nerve pinched in my left quad
I've had it like this before, and it's always my left leg, when I've got it earlier, I've just let it be, but it takes ages for it to "heal" (same nerve not getting pinched).

Any ideas?

Could be a few things...but it sounds like you are going too heavy if you keep re-injuring the same area. When you are doing that exercise, make sure you are going SLOW and CONTROLLED with no swinging and without using your hips. A lot of people do the leg extension improperly and cause themselves minor injuries as a result.

For now, ice and rest for the next 2-3 days at least.
