Well, a wider stance is the most appripiate for moving heavy ass weights, and using a powerlifting technique. You won't see any powerlifter squatting with a narrow stance. And they know what they're doing.

Now, if you simply want the squat to focus more on your quads for bodybuilding purposes, a narrower stance might be more beneficial, but anyway, if that were the case, I'd simply keep on squatting wide, and add some leg press with a narrower stance for the quads. A wider squat will always be a better developer than a narrower.
