I am 5'11'' 178 lbs 18 y/o male. I just graduated HS and haven't lifted since early sophomore year, so I'm pretty weak. I've been watching what I've been eating since the beginning of the summer and have already lost 12 lbs (started at 190).

Basically I am suffering from way too many people telling me what to do, so I thought I would just get even more advice. My brother was in the same situation I was in, he lost about 30 lbs of fat and gained maybe 10 lbs of muscle through a year of lifting. He is telling me I should eat about 1500 calories a day and just lift 4-5 days a week.

In order for me to get my gym membership paid for, my mom forced me to use a personal trainer for 15 sessions. My trainer recommends I eat enough calories to gain a lot of muscle, yet he is having me lift low weight with a lot of reps and sets (like 3x15 or 4x10).

My main goal is lose about 10 more lbs by the end of the summer and of course be stronger so I can jump right into lifting hardcore.
How many calories should I eat per day, and how much of that should be proteins/carbs/fat etc? How often should I work out, at what level of weight with sets and reps etc? And what split should I do?

DO all of that.

Once you are down to a lower BF %...and have built up a bit of strength you can begin the 5x5 training which will be for a good solid lean bulk.

After running the above plan for about 2-3 months...you should be down around 155-160 but stronger and much more ripped. At that point, come get me and I will set you up with a bulking plan for gaining a lot of size and strength

Well an assisted-rep is good as well...however a negative rep the training partner help you force the weight to the top, then you bring it back down all on your own.

Assisted reps include a partner for ALL parts of the training...not just the assistance to the top.

Avoid american cheese or any processed cheese.

stick to 2% milk cheese (any type) with lower sodium preferred.

Cheddar, munster, swiss, etc. all good choices.

how do i become more coordinated?

anything i do related to any type of sport or multi purpose bodily function (besides video games & lifting) i do all of it awkwardly.

i throw/catch a football weird and suck at it
same for soccer
i suck at throwing & catching a baseball..
i have a weird & horrible bowling stance (friends say i look like a robot lol)
i can NOT swim at all, i can't even keep myself a float by like lying on my back or do anything simple such as a doggy pattle (yes i have tried learning multiple times however i still can't do anything in the water)
somewhat shitty at riding a bike, and today i went to go ride mopeds around the beach with friends (they get up to 55+ mph) i rode that all awkwardly, was hard for me to keep balance & focus on maintaing a speed & braking when need too

anyway i suck at pretty much everything i do thats physical..

i know how to do it but i do it weird as hell
i am left handed so im not sure if that make a difference at all (always thought it did)

i HAVE gotten better since when i first started but all my friends tell me that i do shit all weird whenever i play any sports with them..

but yea what should i do?

In this case, practice makes perfect. The reason you are awkward with these things is probably because you missed out on a lot of it during the developmental phase as a child.

Not to worry, muscle memory will serve you well.

Just keep playing/doing whatever you want to improve on...and do it constantly. You also need to relax and let your body loose and try not to be as rigid. It will come naturally in time.

Make sure to focus on what you are doing, without completely drowning out everything around you.

This is truly a a mission for pure repetition and mind control for keeping yourself focused but loose.
