hmm

the first one looks like a boil or an ingrown hair. the second one looks like a deep tissue scar from acne infection combined with a top layer pus pocket.

Anyway, to make matters simple...there are plenty of treatments for this. Go to a dermatologist...don't try to self treat, and get it taken care of. Usually the treatments are NOT invasive and will yield a very good outcome in short time.

Besides that the other other thing you could do for yourself is wash the area daily with hot water and antibacterial soap, apply hydrogen peroxide post-shower, and keep the area as clean as possible. Even neosporin on the area can help. Essentially the area requires time to heal on its own...but its very difficult given the region and nature of the condition.

Just rest it for about a week...I wouldn't worry, but it sounds like you had a slight dislocation.

Thanks

certainly...

Failures = going until your muscles totally fail and even half-reps are not possible
Negative = doing more weight than you can handle (usually after failure) when a spotter helps you with as much as is required for you to get each additional rep
Breakdowns = Where you start with a weight (usually heavy) and AFTER failure immediately cut the weight lower (usually in half) and continue working until you fail with that lighter weight and then immediately cut the weight even lower and fail with that.

not trying to correct you or anything raynor, but i thought negative reps were when you lower the weight as slow as you possibly can

I am 5'11'' 178 lbs 18 y/o male. I just graduated HS and haven't lifted since early sophomore year, so I'm pretty weak. I've been watching what I've been eating since the beginning of the summer and have already lost 12 lbs (started at 190).

Basically I am suffering from way too many people telling me what to do, so I thought I would just get even more advice. My brother was in the same situation I was in, he lost about 30 lbs of fat and gained maybe 10 lbs of muscle through a year of lifting. He is telling me I should eat about 1500 calories a day and just lift 4-5 days a week.

In order for me to get my gym membership paid for, my mom forced me to use a personal trainer for 15 sessions. My trainer recommends I eat enough calories to gain a lot of muscle, yet he is having me lift low weight with a lot of reps and sets (like 3x15 or 4x10).

My main goal is lose about 10 more lbs by the end of the summer and of course be stronger so I can jump right into lifting hardcore.
How many calories should I eat per day, and how much of that should be proteins/carbs/fat etc? How often should I work out, at what level of weight with sets and reps etc? And what split should I do?

thats the NEGATIVE portion of the rep....that is not doing a "NEGATIVE"

two separate things.
