Actually that stuff is NOT good for you.
It is loaded with sugar/carbs, and has relatively low protein.
You should instead look into some good whey protein shakes such as:
Optimum Nutrition Pro Complex
Cytosport Muscle Milk
Labrada Lean Body

Hello there!
My bf wants to get in shape but doesnt understand cutting
His bmr says he needs approx 3000 calories a day- he works out 6 days a week and does cardio everday says he burns 350 calories a day from cardio!
Is cutting just eating less + exercise?
If he went down to 2500 calories in eating and burns up to 350 cal a day does he have to eat the 350 back??? Help pls!!

Also how many calories wouuld he burn from working out with weights???

hey raynor, is there any problems with running insanity along with liftin at the gym? havent looked into insanity too much but from what i can tell its basically just body weight cardio stuff? was just gonna use insanity to cut off some extra body fat

If his BMR is 3,000 which I highly doubt (he'd have to be huge to have that BMR) it's BMR + exercise for TOTAL BMR. At that point you'd have to eat 500 cals less per day in order to have a 1 lb of fat per week loss.
Google a BMR Calculator and figure out what his resting BMR is. Then add in exercise. About 1 hour of average cardio every day burns around 250-350 cals. 1 hour of intense weight lifting burns around 400 cals.

I personally do not use vitargo...however upon researching the product I have found that Fractionated Barley Amylopectin looks to be a fairly good instant carb source. Although there isn't enough research out there for me to make a fully defined opinion.
I still stick to waxy maize for now.

That's exactly what insanity is. You can use it for basic high level physical activity should you choose. Nothing wrong with that for a person looking to shed bodyfat and not concerned with muscle growth and development.

ohh fuck just bought 6 cans
ill use em as a treat for myself now and then
i got a whey protein shake... i was just usein these cans as a drink between but thanks for the advice!

I haven't worked out for a long while (6 months or so). I started running again but the pain between my thighs is horrible, but I also run quite a lot so I have to tank the pain. Any tips to reduce the sting?
