A guy I know (41 year old) works as an electrician and hasn't worked in the last 3-4 years due to injury but has a home cinema worth like $300,000 (srs) in his basement. I posted pictures of it on some A/V boards (think I posted it in CHD?) and they thought he must be an NFL/NBA player or something but fact is he built it on an electricians wage here

I spent my teens and twenties focusing on school/work and saving money, RIP social life. I can enjoy life now though. Leaving my day job next month to travel the world. I can live off investments

Damn I wish I had your work ethic. I think I spent a total of 5-7 hours studying for 5 modules this semester... People in my class would spend up to 10 hours a day but I didn't spend 10 hours through an entire semester... I promised myself to do better next semester tho
