how much time does the media portray the palestinian as the bad guys, but israel as the good guys and they have every right to "protect themselves"?...aren't the palestinians doing the same, protecting themselves? while hamas' rockets are not even on the same level as the israeli's level of accuracy, the israelis choose to kill civilians because their missles "do not discriminate". Refer to the Dahiya Doctrine. i can find a bunch of articles that can argue both ways. obviously lightman gonna side with israel, cuz he's a jew. I don't agree with the killing of any innocent people, period. But this thread consensus tells me most of you are pro-israel or just a zionist. It's a complicated issue, so I'm not gonna adamantly say I side with one side more than the other, but I sympathize the Palestinians. Just look at the deaths and statistics. Both sides are wrong.

Yea for real, it's fucked up. The Palestinian people are facing oppression and genocide, but Israel is defending itself. Lol. Sorry but at this point it's the other way around, Palestinians are the ones defending their culture and lives.So sad how so many people in Israel and US actually believe that. I don't know enough as I haven't been there. I am not religious, so I don't completely understand. Everything I see pop up from people I know on Facebook is pro-palestinian. I am just going based off of what I have been told from people that have been there, and from what I have been able to read.

If you can support a Jihad, as many of the children are taught (and as many adults have grown up with), then I don't know what to say.

I do believe that if missiles weren't fired from Palestine, then there wouldn't be need for retaliation (I do know that there are mix signals on what incited it - the killing of the teenagers from both sides, but that doesn't granted free reign of missiles).
