1) Find a NEW doctor; if ONLY to get a second opinion about your treatment options.
2) Sit down with your dad and call SEVERAL malpractice attorneys. Even if the first dude you call is itching to take your case right away; you should still hear what other attorneys have to say. Many attorneys MIGHT shoot down your case; but keep calling. My ex's mom had a slip and fall and it took her a few MONTHS to find the right lawyer. There was even a TV lawyer here in detroit who we were SURE would take her case; but he turned her down. She kept trying though, she got a lawyer and they settled out of court. FIND A LAWYER.
You're talking out of your ass. Any legal professional will tell him he doesn't have a case. This is a side effect of a drug, and a fairly common one at that. No judge in their right mind would see this one through. The case would be thrown out. You really should do your research before you criticize others.
