hey mate, iv just started playing tennis again after a 2 year break through injury, so iv lost a bit of muscle through this time, got any recommended exercises i can do at home to get some of that upper body strength back..
Best bet is to get into a regular weight training regimen.
I would reccomend the split for tennis players -
Mon - Chest/Back/Abs
Tues - Legs/Calves
Weds - OFF
Thurs - Shoulders/Forearms/Abs
Friday - Biceps/Triceps/calves
Sat - OFF
Sun - OFF
This simple 4 day split is perfect for tennis players. Strive for moderately heavy weight....but keep the reps between 8-12...but don't forget to constantly stretch between sets.
