At the moment i'm doing track workouts with my friend (he runs in the NCAA), we're doing about 3 a week. I'm just trying to cut off a little fat i've gained from college and get my six pack back.  In order to keep my muscles from getting destroyed is there anything in particular I should do?  All I know is i need to keep lifting hard and keep my protein up, any other advice would be greatly appreciated :)

hey there....CKD is the BEST way to maintain muscle mass and strength while losing body fat quickly...

I told you I got Optimum Nutrition Pro Complex and Now Whey Protein Isolate, and I would report on both.

Optimum Nutrition is one of the more expensive protein powders. I iordered Rocky Road (4.6 pound container), it mixes like a god send and tastes decent (mixed with water).

NOW Whey Protein Isolate is mid range expensive when it comes to protein powders. I ordered Natural Dutch Chocolate (10 pound bag), it tastes like ABSOLUTE SHIT (mixed with water) (I will try mixing it with 2% milk and report on that). It mixes better then muscle milk, but not as good as Optimum Nutrition.

First day of Jet Fuel this morning, took 3, feel a little more energized and hyper (normal I suppose).

I am finally down below 200 (199.2) I started off at 215, my goal weight is about 175, then I would like to add 10-15 pounds of cut muscle.

Thanks for the continued help and support.

I need a meal replacement for my tuna ( the tuna my mom is always buying is the albacore, loaded with mercure) and I prefer not to eat that type of tuna everyday.

I need something 25-35g protein
Fast to prepare ( my tuna take about 3-4 minutes to prepare)
I'm already eating chicken/ground beaf/eggs/cottage cheese/whey as my protein source, so I need something else

Thank you!

Hey there.

You are very welcome.

I'm sorry you don't care for the NOW!...it's more a chocolate-water flavor...but considering it has virutally nothing in it besides whey protein and cocoa, it's pretty decent. I recommend adding some stevia (try truvia brand) into the shake...it peps things up a bit.

the energy and hyper feeling from jet fuel is indeed normal, enjoy it!

keep up the good work

well, the only other protein source I can recommend that is fast and easy to prepare would be sliced meat and cheese....something like Turkey and Cheddar slices. Make sure to get the low sodium variety and throw on some mustard or mayo for additional flavor - no bread required.

Hey Raynor :) I took your advice and I'm eating healthier and I feel a lot better in day to day activities. I can also run 3+ miles in ~26 minutes and really feel pretty afterwards. I started off struggling to get to a mile.

I'm curious of a few things.

What are some healthy low calorie cereals aside from shredded wheat (it tastes like poo). Is it that much worse to get frosted mini wheats? I read cinnamon toast crunch isnt all that bad but it has 10 grams of sugar per cup. I love cinnamon, so maybe there is a cereal with cinnamon that doesnt have such a high sugar content?

What are some healthy soups? I love chicken noodle, actually i like beef flavored soups better.

What kinds of yogurt are healthy but dont taste like crap?

I'm gonna try those whole grain pepperidge farm breads when i go to the grocery store :D

Thank you sooo much sir :D
