Depends. If you are trying to stay lean or get lean....then yes you should do some HIIT cardio on those days.

If you are trying to bulk up...then you can avoid it

What do you consider the best exercises to build up lower abs? I already have a visible six pack at 6ish% bf but my abs don't bulge out like I want them to especially the lower ones. I've started to do some more leg raises and more weighted ab exercises but it still doesn't seem to be enough :\ I know that heavy squats/deadlifts will help but I'm looking for other exercises that I could do without equipment or that I could do with like a 20lb weight. Any help would be appreciated :)

It MAY...it all depends on the person, all "fat burners" are stimulants and can have that effect...best option is to try it and see how it goes. "jitters" are a good thing that usually means your BMR is highly elevated.

What's BMR :) ?

Thanks :)

yes, you can avoid the cardio all together if you are doing a pure bulk

very slow hanging leg raises...hold a dumbbell between your feet...and go until you fail. Feel the contraction in those lower abs.

Absolute best thing possible for this.

Basal Metabolic Rate...

essentially the calories your body burns just from existing and normal functions (breathing, eating, and so forth)

At the moment i'm doing track workouts with my friend (he runs in the NCAA), we're doing about 3 a week. I'm just trying to cut off a little fat i've gained from college and get my six pack back. In order to keep my muscles from getting destroyed is there anything in particular I should do? All I know is i need to keep lifting hard and keep my protein up, any other advice would be greatly appreciated :)
