depends on what youre targeting. if im targeting my lats specifically i would clearly use strict pull ups opposed to those swinging things. i could probably do over 50 of those swinging motion things and not feel a pump lol

You are completely missing the point of the workout dude. Obviously you would use strict pullups if you are targeting your lats.
THEY AREN'T DOING A LAT WORKOUT... They aren't targeting any muscle. They are doing a full body/core murder, 4x in a row. ANd no you couldnt do 50 in a row, you could do maybe 10 in a row if you spent a couple days working on the movement.
Also there isn't any clean and jerks before the 445 mark...
Oh and as an avid crossfitter, i can easily vouch that strict pullups are a lot easier than buttterfly pullups ( Those swinging things), But the turnover on butterfly pullups is like 2:1 to strict. That's why people use them, cause it's quicker.
