This will continue to improve strength and size. It is used alternating with 5x5 to shock the muscles and provide an alternative workout

it's both.

You want to do heavy weight for as many reps as possible.

For pure size gains you want to be able to completely exhaust the muscle, causing lots of microtears which eventually repair into larger muscles.

so basically the more sets, the more reps, and the higher weight the better...push yourself to the limit, failure sets, drop sets, etc.

also bench press has NOTHING to do with arms...bench press is for chest...

Hey there.

The sucurlose is splenda. It isn't the best thing for you, but shouldn't have any impact on keto.

I would avoid re-purchasing this in the future and opt for a natural casein protein.


next, avoid the Pre workouts on keto, there is a lot of stuff in there, including citric acid that can throw you out of keto.

switch to plain black coffee pre workout instead.

Hmm, what I meant though for the energy expenditure part was if you happen to have a tool or guideline that can help me calculate or know my energy expenditure.
ex: calculate my BMR and then all the activities I do in a day (or an estimation guide) to then tell me how much energy I spend in a day...which can help me then to know what I need in order to maintain my weight and or bulk/cut by adding or making a deficit

Best bet is to use a standard BMR calculator like this one:

then add in your exercise on top of that number to come to your best estimated energy expenditure for the day.

You can use this...it gets a little general...but it works well.

There are a lot of ways to fix this problem...

first of all here are a list of cold and hot food ideas:


Cold food -

Salads w/ chicken or tuna or egg salad on top
Sandwiches on whole grain bread or whole grain pita with chicken/turkey/tuna/egg salad/ham/lean roast beef
Grilled Chicken w/ dipping sauce (bbq, ketchup, etc) and some raw veggies
hard boiled eggs + raw veggies + fruit + brown rice chips


Hot Food -

whole grain pasta with tomato sauce and LEAN ground beef (heats masterfully)
brown rice w/ grilled chicken and mixed veggies with braggs aminos (this tastes like soy sauce but much healthier!)
Mashed potatoes + lean ground beef + mixed veggies


these dishes should get you started.
