Tear screwed up his first cycle and lost pretty much all he gained from what he told me, so whoever says "OMERGERD ROIDZ" can stfu.

Personally I kept most of what I gained. So while Lightman is right when saying the roids you take years ago do not effect how you train now, it still gave me a little boost for that very small period of time (3 months).


exactly how i look at tears cycle as well.

I've studied the endocrine a bit during classes this year, don't say I'm ignorant

E: point is you're saying using aas will not yield any increased gains post cycle. That's false.

I'm not sure what sprinting will do in terms of cockblocking hypertrophy but it probably depends on how much sprint work you're doing. I haven't been working for adding much lean muscle, but sprints didn't hurt me this summer. But I'm sitting at 180, and I was getting leaner from 190-195 this summer, so my legs aren't likely to explode at any moment. I did some sprinting in hs, and I think it probably did hinder my leg development, but maybe my leg work wasn't the best because I was so focused on my upper body aesthetic and I was working my legs to the bone with sports.

Fast-twitch recruitment should help in terms of power, but I don't think that should translate into hypertrophy.

Best leg advice one might give = do whatever Tom Platz did. I guess review your leg workouts and live with anything lost due to sprinting. If I recall right, Oak had some pretty nice legs. Maybe he'd have something to say?

EDIT: either way, going to re-gz you on the arm progress. My arms are currently tricep dominant, but I'm going for basketball performance and not aesthetics. Not just yet. And not that triceps don't look cool. I just miss having peaks.

Again, you seem to know very little as to how a biosystem functions when it deals with a quantity of a hormone which is found to be over several folds of its natural secretion.
The bioavailability of a known-to-be low hormone such as testosterone suddenly spiking incredibly high, as well as its half-life doubling by pharmaceutical modifications, cause for an unnatural imbalance which begins a chain effect, starting with a mass production of the aromatose enzymes to maintain the current supraphysiology.

As such, the endocrine system once stopped from being artificially injected with modified hormones, restores balance. The first action is massive production of cortisol & estrogen, a pendulum effect if you will, which will catapult-reverse the supraphysiology on itself.

Even with a PCT, one cannot maintain from a single beginner-type cycle, the necessary requirement of the several folds anabolic advantage one once had. Whatever minuscule gains were made cannot be kept, regardless of protein consumption (Which is completely besides the point).
