Hey there. Generally it's good to make meals for the week on a Sunday. I tend to make foods that will stay at least a week in refrigerated and sealed conditions. You can use:

1. Chicken (any style)
2. Beef (any style, but I prefer meatballs the best)
3. Tuna or Egg Salad
4. Eggs (any way)
5. Brown rice or whole grain pasta
6. Steamed veggies or raw veggies
7. sweet potatoes (whole) or mashed
8. oatmeal (sometimes easier to just make on the fly)
9. Cottage Cheese mixed with brown rice, fresh fruit, cinnamon, mixed nuts, and 1 packet of stevia. (I use this all the time)
10. Sliced cheeses/meats
11. Shrimp (any style, but cocktail shrimp are the easiest)

etc.

all of those foods stay for at least 7 days, including the eggs and meat, so enjoy!

scrambled eggs will stay good in the fridge? If I warm them up, will they taste like crap? That would be sweet! I always assumed you couldn't do that!

Got a few questions regarding protein shakes....

If I take casein at night there is virtually no point in taking a protein shake in the morning I'm assuming?
So for the protein shake concept taking a shake pre and post would be the ideal use?
Optimum Nutrition Complex the serving size is 2 scoops but is that necessary, could I just use one scoop of protein or would that defeat the purpose

Hey Raynor. Today while I was squatting the bar slipped a little when I was doing low bar squat. It was uncomfortable on my left shoulder so I racked it and regripped. It was only 225 so it wasn't like it was alot for me. My shoulder has been numb ever since. the muscle that runs directly down the middle of my shoulder is sore to the touch but it doesn't hurt to move it in any direction at all. Should i be worried or did I just pinch a nerve?

Edit: It isn't an unbearable pain either. Just like if you pushed on a sore muscle from working it hard. That kind of pain, but I obviously didn't do shoulders today :(

Hey there. Taking a shake in the morning (a regular shake, not casein) would be fine...by the time you wake up, all the casein has been digested.

As far as pre/post goes...it's good, but not required. POST workout is required, preworkout can be a good meal 1 hour before training.

lastly, you want to take in about 30-40g of protein with each shake...that means 1 and 1/2 scoops should do the trick.

what would you like to know?

It doesn't have a total effect of blood sugar like regular sugar....however it does raise blood sugar levels somewhat (just much less than regular sugar). In addition, sugar alcohols tend to be associated with harmful artificial sweeteners - I would avoid.

As far as keto goes, sugar alcohol is a NO GO.

anything more specific you wanted answered about that?

Hey there.

Yes, stick to 5x5 for about 3-4 months. After that you will switch up to hypertrophy training for another 3-4 months...and then back to 5x5. By alternating these two plans gives your body maximum results.
