SKC - I have been looking at the Keto Diet and was wondering about the meal plan: and the question i have is, do i eat the same thing day in, day out i.e the meal plan below everyday if not i was wondering if you can suggest some other days im thinking about giving it a shot i like everything on the list: cheese, beef, chicken, tuna and cottage cheese lol so sounds like the better diet for me just dont want to get bored of the same things and when you say heavy cream what do you mean (would that be double cream in Uk)

Meal Plan:

Meal 1 - 4 whole eggs + 1 oz full fat cheese w/ 1/2 cup green peppers
Meal 2 - 1 zero carb protein shake w/ 3 tbsp heavy cream
Meal 3 - 1 salad with chicken breast and 2 tbsp olive oil + vinegar
Meal 4 - 1 can of tuna + 2 oz full fat cheese + 2-3 tbsp mayo + green veggies (celery, green pepper, etc)
Meal 5 - 6oz ground beef (80/20) with grated romano cheese, 4tbsp tomato sauce, and green veggies
Meal 6 - 1 cup cottage cheese + either 3tbsp heavy cream or 2tbsp olive oil w/ 8-10 almonds.

And also what GAT Jet Fuel is the best i googled it and there was a couple of different ones (liquid ect) or do you know of any good ones available in the UK

Thanks..

Hey there. You can feel free to change up your meal plan accordingly, you only need to make sure of the following:

1. All meals contain NO CARBS (read the labels!)
2. You get the 60/40 fat-to-protein ratio...in calories (60% calories from fat, and 40% calories from protein).
3. You get at least 2-3 servings of raw green veggies per day.
4. You eat cottage cheese before bed every night.

Other than that, you can mix things up and make whatever you want with those core ingredients.

Also yes, heavy cream = double cream in the UK

edit:

almost forgot...to substitute for jet fuel, you can just drink 2 large cups of black coffee

Has anyone ever taken this before?
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/musclepharm/assault.html

If so, can someone tell me how well it worked if it worked and if it's worth the price etc.

This STICKY is not for general user advice.

For that, please post in the regular health & fitness forum and make your own thread.

If you are asking me about it, I would be glad to help.

The product is basically just another caffeine + creatine + arginine mix.

The amped up feeling you get from taking it is mostly from the caffeine and B vitamins. The creatine is pretty standard creapure creatine. The arginine is negated by the caffeine.

Essentially you are paying for overpriced, blue colored, artifically flavored and sweetened creatine and caffeine.

Do yourself a favor and stick to straight caffeine PRE workout (black coffee or a product like GAT Jet Fuel) and just use PWO creatine from Scifit (Kre Alkalyn).

A few pages ago I posted a large scientific article about kre-alkalyn. I have finally been swayed to that side.

The test results were undeniable and truly outstanding.

To sum it up for you, kre-alkalyn maintains proper ph, absorbs better (loses much less in urine), and increases ATP by nearly 200% over regular monohydrate. In addition, 10g of monohydrate = around 2g of kre-alkalyn. No bloat either. The first time I used kre-alkalyn, I used the liquid. Big mistake. The capsules are much better apparently...as the liquid is not stable for very long before degeneration (the scifit variety)

I would recommend changing over to kre-alkalyn.

thanks to crazyshot, here is the link:

any good simple sugar PWO is good for a brief insulin spike to increase uptake of nutrients to the muscles.

I prefer waxy maize myself...although dextrose is the old tride and true method.
