Hey there....yes, if you are taking in that diet and also working out sufficiently each day and keeping your general activity level high, you can stand to see some pretty good lean muscle gains and marginal fat losses over short period of time.

Avoid the centrum, that vitamin is useless. Instead please try NOW! Adam or CL Orange Triad.

I would be glad to go into more detail with you, but could you possibly give me an idea what you are looking for me to do? Do you want me to modify your plan? Show you a few new plans? etc?

Some of the main questions I have are sort of the "What if's"

If I dont workout or know I wont be able to go to the gym should i still drink muscle milk (on a given day)? If so how many 1 or 2?

I invested in a set of 10 15 and 20 pound dumbells to use for days when I cant get to the gym. With just a really basic free weight exercise routine at home for about an hour or so is it still good to drink 2 muscle milks per day?

I really do want to try and get into shape and have muscles and muscle definition.

I would like to look pretty good in a bathing suit come July, is this possible? Exactly how hard will I have to work?

Is ordering muscle milk and now adam from bodybuilding.com cheaper than buying it from vitamin shoppe or wal-mart?

Thanks so much, and I am willing to take any and all feedback or ideas you have for me :)

ive read some articles on GVT and i was wanting to get your input on what would be the best weekly routine to use (specific exercises and what days to exercise)

something like a 3-4 days a week with 1-2 auxiliary/isolation lifts to complement it

Hey,

I'm training in the gym but at the same time training for a 10 mile race, someone just told me that its totally pointless to do both at the same time. True?

raynor, can you set me up a five day split routine? I'd really like everyday to include some form of cardio.

Complex carbs can take longer to throw you out of ketosis because of their slow digesting nature and low glycemic index. Check your ketones 24 hrs after a carb day - if you are still in moderate ketosis, you have an epic metabolism!!

Secondly for heart rate, 47 is amazing. Any lower than 40 is probably a bit on the low side for resting, but 47 is really good and shows you have good cardiovascular strength

Checked 24 hrs after..... Test positive for "small" ketones :D
Haha thats great, but I do kno simple sugars throw me out QUICK and seem to keep me out for 2 days. (Probly because when I eat them, theres no holding back lol)

Yes, these are meal replacements - out of your 6 meals a day, these can replace 1 or 2 meals

I invested in a set of 10 15 and 20 pound dumbells to use for days when I cant get to the gym. With just a really basic free weight exercise routine at home for about an hour or so is it still good to drink 2 muscle milks per day?
yes, no problem at all

I really do want to try and get into shape and have muscles and  muscle definition.
I would like to look pretty good in a bathing suit come July, is this possible? Exactly how hard will I have to work?
It all depends on how you look right now and what you need to get done. Either way, the harder you work the better - don't expect to get anywhere without trying your absolute hardest every single day

Is ordering muscle milk and now adam from bodybuilding.com cheaper than buying it from vitamin shoppe or wal-mart?
Yes, most of the time - vitaminshoppe sometimes runs good sales for muscle milk however

Thanks so much, and I am willing to take any and all feedback or ideas you have for me :)

GVT can be hit or miss - however if you want the best possible GVT, try Charles Poliquin's updated method...I do NOT take credit for other people's work, so check it out here:

Not exactly...it would be good for you to train at a cardio pace at the gym, ie: high reps, lot of endurance work, less heavy weight. This improves your cardio endurance for the race.
