I just got done eating a 9 ounce steak and a 6 ounce piece of chicken after my workout with a whole head of broccoli. All of it was covered in olive oil and butter. The total protein/fat/carb ratio is as follows:
80g protein, 30g fat, 0g carbs.
The only time such a huge amount of protein is acceptable is post workout and when it is mixed half fast protein and half slow protein (chicken is pretty fast...2-3 hours, red meat is 6-8 hours).
However, even at 40g per meal, 6 meals x 40g = 240g / day...which is a very easily attained number NOT including shakes !
