jumping beans

can i take the gatorade powder, add aminos and creatine and carry it around with me at the gym without it denaturing or will i have to chug?
anyways, does salt affect weight loss? or just adds to water weight

Sodium does few things -

first of all, all of your minerals need to be in balance to promote a healthy state for the body's metabolic drive.

With that in mind, a grave imbalance of sodium to potassium/magnesium/calcium will almost undoubtedly result in high blood pressure, increased water retention, imbalanced ph levels, and reduced anabolism**

** this has been argued in many clinical trials, but I stand from personal experience when I say that having a balanced mineral input is critical for this.

so overall, if you want to do heavy salt in general, the key is to just balance it out properly.

1x sodium
2x potassium
1x calcium
1x magnesium

1 gal of water per 2g sodium MINIMUM

I highly recommend you take

Kre Alkalyn

This is the buffered form of creatine which is much more effective in the body than regular creatine by itself.

Scifit Kre Alkalyn on bodybuilding.com has a good special offer going on right now (buy 1 bottle, get 1 bottle of ph buffered glutamine free)

You basically take 2 capsules in the morning and 2 pre/post workout. The total result is the equivilent of ingesting 10g of monohydrate per day, but no bloat, better absorption, and better ph levels to show for it

Thats keto safe? Im following your CKD still.

Raynor, in your opinion, how accurate are the bf calipers?  I got a pair with my order through bb for the lulz.  Said I was 17-18 % bf which seemed pretty realistic.  Wondering what you thought :D

they are around 1-2% accurate.

enjoy =)

yes very keto safe, moreso than regular monohydrate because regular monohydrate usually requires a sugar for which to act as a delivery system

1 more thing... im very keto sensitive, I guess you'd call it... Its very easy to get my body into ketosis.. I remember you telling me that I should carb up every 2 weeks or so, but what if I get into deep ketosis within the first week? Would it be acceptable to take a carb day? Or will I not see as much results.

similar, but not the same.

fat burners have a larger complex of stimulants and usually contain no arginine or magnesium or artificials.

yes, that is fine. If you go into keto quickly, just begin carb up every 1 week.

Off hand I do not know - I don't really keep up with that sort of thing.

However, I have put together nutrition plans for many collegiate athletes in the past, some of which who have actually gone pro in their fields.

sorry if this wasn't of much help.

do you know of any good websites for high level sports nutrition in general?
