Tell that to the rest of Europe and large areas in the U.S. ... And all of Africa, most of Asia and the majority of South America.. ^^ Even the UK panics when it goes down to -5c
there's quite a huge difference between southern and northern Norway, down south we rarely see any thing colder than -20c (coldest in my 13 years here was -26c) and right now its december but there's hardly any snow on the ground at all. The last few christmases have been rather green... Even when it does snow rarely more than a foot of snow.
Up north you get any where from -30c to -40c from November to February, snow comes in october, builds up to well over a metre (3 ft) and doesn't really melt until April-May..
northern norway sounds like maine....frozen hell.
