Well I started a new job this week.

Since my last update I've been working out but not as much as I really ought to. Bit of half assing it going on over here but I started to gain a little fat weight too so I'm going to try and cut a little.
I've never cut weight in my life. Never had to. And realistically I don't have to now but I've always been lean, and I'd like to stay that way... anyways.

Eating on a deficit fucking blows. I don't know how people do it. I hate feeling hungry. My energy levels are ok but it just sucks... Mind you, I don't count shit but I'm probably running a pretty decent deficit so that's maybe why

Anywhooooo. The cutting thing has also motivated me to be more disciplined with gyming it up as well, and the realization I need to begin training for the firefighter testing again because although I made the hire list, it doesn't look like they're going to pull deep enough for me to actually get hired before they do the testing again
Pretty gay but it is what it is I guess. Gotta improve my resume a bit more and do better in the interview for next time.

MY lifts themselves are ok. Most of my strength is actually not too bad consider what it was at the new year and was laid up pretty bad for so long with my neck and shit this year.
The one thing that seems to have lost a lot of strength though is my legs which sucks. My wheels are the one thing I want to remain strong and they lost the most strength by far.

3x8x155 Bench
3x10x95 seated OHP

I REALLY need to get some DB shit too. Gets old only working with an OLY BB... I had intended on doing once a month progress pics but it's past that point now so I'll probably go straight to the 2 month this time around

3rd set at 205. did 4 sets total. Gotta bump the weight. My legs are coming back quick which is nice.

Mostly everything is coming back quick actually. Video was the 11th. Form on a couple of the reps was meh but whatever

I cut for 4 weeks. Started at 167lbs morning weight and ended at 163. Got lots stronger over that time as well.

I'm sitting at 165 or so morning weight I think. Have't weighed myself in a week.

I'm up to.
4x8x295DL
4x8x245 squat (but I've been having issues with my knee so i've been doing lighter weight the last couple weeks)
4x8x115 OHP
4x8x175? bench. gotta check my board downstairs... to see if this is the right weight

doing a 4x8x85 straight bb curl/skullcrusher currently too.

3x8x135 palms down and 3x8x135 palms up bent over row as well

and this for good measure. Apparently we men still do this shit to each other in our 30s when we drink. Last sunday mornings surprise after getting black out drunk and passing out before some of my other friends lol

correction. Had a drunk workout this morning. bench is up to 4x8x180 :thumbsup:

Unfortunately I'm beginning to feel like a bag of dicks and the hangover is kicking in. Last night got a little more greasy than intended

since it's been quiet in hnf lately I'll give another update.

Hit 4x8x315 DL tonight. did 2 reps at 355 last week as well after my 4 sets at 305. I feel like on a good day where I'm fresh, I could hit 375-85

Also hit 4x8x125 seated BB OHP

I've been having issues with my right knee so squats haven't officially improved. after the week where I hit 4x8x245 I dropped back down to 225.
I did 235 last week and later this week I will be trying 245 again provided my knee feels alright. See how it feels.

Got 4x8x185 on bench last week. Gunning for 190 this week.

I think I'm up to 4x8x90 for straight bar curls or some shit.

Weighed 165.6 this afternoon when I rolled out of bed. More dehydrated and malnourished than normal. I think on a normal morning I'm probably closer to 167 or 168 right now.

my waist is 32.5" (relaxed) right now in the morning. That's close to 2" smaller than it was when I started at the end of september, and 1.5" less than it was mid november, even though I'm probably back up to the same weight as November.
