Junior Nationals, classic raw.
Competed in the -93 class, weighed in at 88.25kg
Really long day overall, had to visit the ER with a friend the night to saturday so sleep was limited.^
Arrived at competition at around 13, friend started competing 14:15. My weigh in was 16:45 and comp started 18:15.
Had a massive headache all day but it didn't bother me to much.

Squat
160 - OOO, super easy as planned
172.5 - XXX, super easy but my ankle pretty much snapped. Could not complete lift
-, Skipped last lift due to pain.
Really fucking annoying, first time my ankle hurts during lowbar is ofc on J.nationals.

Bench
90 - OOO
100 - OOO
105 - XXX, energy went down to zero about 3cm from lockout, could not complete lockout. Had no fucking idea what happened.

Deadlift
210 - OOO, flew up.
225 - OOO, fucked up breathing but it was real easy aswell.
235 - XXX, calluses tore on my left hand right before lockout so I dropped the bar. Would've nailed it easy otherwise. Form was quite bad though, lats are sore today.

485kg total which was around 30kg less then I planned...

Ankle did affect my bench a bit due to having to find a completely new position.
Deadlift did not get to affected but it hurt a bit at start.

So this competition was extremely bad, was not in the really in the mood to lift. I am usually psychomode on comp's but could not get going at all during squat/bench.

Got a competition in my town next saturday so hopefully I can actually do a good total there (if ankle is ok).

E: Might get some videos up later. Not sure if what lifts we filmed.

Nothing you can do if injuries are getting in your way. Hope you feel better for next week, don't let it get to you :)

There were 3insane dudes in this class (ok the -93 class is the hardest by far and had the most people aswell).

I think the winner did around 680 in the total (like 245/160/275), the runner up did like 5kg less and the third place did like 665.

It was insane on sunday, a sub-junior (17years old) did 240/125/257.5 in the -83kg class, he got 270 up in the DL but lost balance at lockout. Niga broke senior record in the squat when being 6years away from getting classed as one. Dude is like 182cm tall aswell so he can't claim king of manlets.

Yeah, really annoying though that it happens on a big contest and for the first time using this technique :(

Some flexibility and mobility work

Squat- sloooooooooow with a paus at the bottom.
50 - around 60-70reps spread out on like 8sets.

Powerclean
50 - 6x5-8

Chins
2x8
3x6 - Behind the neck

Ankle feels a bit better, checked it up today and doctors (not specialists though so not completely sure) thought it was a minor ligamenttear/rupture around peroneus/talofibular. Will check it up more when I can.

Serie 2 competition.

A horrible start, all fucking neighbours was partying until 05 this night and I was supposed to wake up at 8, 3-3½ hours of sleep...

Weighed in on 86.7 so it was a real low weight (was 2kg heaver on junior nationals last week).

Squat
160 - OOO
167.5 - OOO
175 - XXX
Was bit to careful on squat due to not knowing if ankle was going to snap again.
So much wat on the 175, I pretty much just stopped squatting and decided to breath out instead.

Bench
90 - OOO
100 - OOO
102.5 - OOO, PR

Deadlift
210 - OOO
227.5 - OOO
235 - XXX, couldn't lock it out, super easy up to just above the knee and just super heavy after that. Need to do more lowerback training.

Total: 497.5kg.
Bit mad I didn't just do 170 squat or 230 deadlift to sequre 500 total.

This is the last powerlifting focused thing I will do this year.
I do have 1 more contest this autumn/winter but I am going to train OL/strongman style due to me being bored with strictly doing PL training.

Hopefully gonna fix my ankle this week aswell, just took me since december to do something about it...
