i honestly wonder this with lots of the non-nerd looking people on any gaming forum...

don't be fooled by looks. i used to live on the streets. sleeping on benches, between buildings, on church steps where ever. before that i was a nerd. now i revert back to that comfort zone and have more fun playing games with my 4 brothers (all of whom have been playing games for 15+ years) then i would getting drunk or w/e.

no matter how old i get, gaming and fitness will always be passions of mine. i can't speak for other people though.

It's just that most PC Gaming has such a nerdy stigma attached to it (Atleast in my opinion), hence why I'm surprised when I see people who arent complete pasty nerds pictures. Granted I wouldnt consider myself to fit really either of the fat/skinny nerd 'stigmas', it still surprises me.

yeah man that's understandable. as much as i like to preach about keeping an open mind, i attach the same stigma.

Part of it may be that people often play videogames in their teen years, then grow up and change to be a quite different person

I don't even really game anymore - maybe 2 hours a week, and I don't use these forums for anything bu HnF now
