Ill give you this, The average person nowadays main source of energy is carbs only due to the fact that there diets are so high in carbs that the body must burn these carbs as fast as it can because you taking in about 5x or 10x the amount of carbs your naturally suppose to have.
If you were in any situation where you could not get stuff from mexico ect in the winter then fat would be your main source.
