hiya raynor, i've recently been diagnosed with hypothyroidism,
do you by any chance know if its safe to continue taking creatine? would be abit of a slap in the face if i had to stop taking it.

thanks for your time.

Hey,

Yesterday I had a really great leg training day, but something was different. Some machines were broken for like 2 weeks so now I could do a full training again for the first time in 2 weeks, but I also ran for about 10-15 minutes before I started. I wasn't sure if this was a good idea but I was quite shocked about how it all went: I could leg press 30 kg (!!) more than before and quite easily aswell. Do you think this was all the result of the rest or the running or ? Which made/makes the biggest difference? Normally I do some warming up but not as much.

A combination of running as well as resting from that particular exercise will definitely do it.

This is a HEAVILY debated topic.

There is no definitive scientific research available on this (that I know of).

However, from pure logic, it wouldn't make sense to say that muscles would atrophy simply from additional weight being placed on them while sleeping.

If anything, it would restrict bloodflow, but then theoretically no matter how you sleep you'd be restricting blood flow somewhere.

I wouldn't put too much weight into this...if it really mattered I don't think you'd see guys with perfect physiques EVER. There would also be a large portion of their body that was underdeveloped as a result.

Just sleep in the way that gives you the MOST restful sleep for maximum GH production and recovery.

Hey there.

Hypothyroidism should not cause you any problems from taking creatine.

There is no scientifically proven study showing that taking creatine monohydrate adversely affects a person with hypothyroidism.

hey its me again :D

alright well is there anything i can do to help jumpstart or spark ketosis after my carb up?

for example, when i first started on monday 8am. I was already showing trace by tuesday night.

then wen i did my carb up i notice it wasnt as fast... started to find a trace Wed

and then this carb up i didnt show ne thing by thursday (and my carb up was sunday)

my diet stayed virtually the same, a little diferences here or there based off of accessibility but deff no cheating.

EDIT

also curious as to why citric acid can potentially knock u out and for how long?

i thought it took 30+ carbs to get someone out of ketosis, why wld citric acid do so?
