also, about BMR and shit...well my bmr is about 2002 - 2015.14 , for cutting, if i aim for 2 k each day is that ok ? or do i have to hit higher then 2k because of working out + cardio? and if i DONT increase it and stay at 2k are there negative consequences? also whats the range i should try to stay within like the lowest i should not go under, like 1800? thanks.

You need to be around 2000 cals per day (taken in).

You are burning around 2,500 cals after you consider exercise.

At this rate you lose 1 lb of fat and 1 lb of water per week.

Hey raynor.

Im getting ready for my carb up this weekend "14 days no carbs, so I take it that will mean saturday+sunday is carb up", how much weight do I expect to gain from this?  Just curious.

Also, how and the hell could someone eat 3 large bagels?  Haha.

You will do a 24 hour carb up...plan it accordingly. You can fit it all into one day if you do it right.

Anyway, you will gain anywhere from 1-5 lbs from this day (mostly from water and excess waste product). You will return to normal weight usually 2-3 days after you begin keto again and then lost an extra pound or so in the next 2-3 days after that.

On carb day you have to eat hard my friend...embrace it.

What are your thoughts on Tabata HIIT for cardio purposes?

I prefer doing "LITTLE" instead of "TABATA"

I honestly have to say the whole "maximum effort" for 10 seconds is really a bit much on the heart...it can get you up the 200 bpm range which is really not good.

the "LITTLE" method is 30-60 seconds of HARD effort, but maintaining a heart rate of no more than 175...this is much safer and just as beneficial cardio wise.

Just wondering if you can recommend any help of any sort towards this. Already when to an sports specialist and he said too just get shoe inserts and wait and it will eventually heal. Been about 4-5 months since i was able to run. Started doing the elliptical last week every other day for 20-30 mins. Was fine but yesterday i had the same pain again. Called the dr and he said to do the same again. Was gonna order a patella tendon knee strap to see if that helps. Thanks for any info you can give me.
