And definitely do a lot of high rep pulling for your grip; I never had problems with my grip because I never used straps but I have definitely noticed that people who started with straps from the start always end up with the grip issues but they correct themselves FAST when someone introduces them to chalk and they start disregarding the straps.
1000% correct. They preached to us to use straps during football because kids were throwing the bars when they weren't using straps on cleans etc

So, after 3 almost 4 years of straps, I found chalk. It's a beautiful thing. I'm sure my grip will catch up by next spring (When I hope to do a comp while I'm still a junior)
