people do what they like to do. why would gaming be sadder than any other endeavor taken up for entertainment or to fulfill some desire.. that includes family and friends.

Unless you're a SEAL, I'm calling bullshit. What MOS in the Navy requires you to train that much? Even as a Cavalry Scout and Infantryman I still found time for myself to unwind and have fun.

I don't think he said he didn't have time. He just wanted to throw in that he joined the navy to garner some sort of respect or something.

And that's a choice. As long as a hobby doesn't interfere with your other duties or negatively impact your life in some way than it doesn't matter what it is imo. If I had more free time I'd probably play some games but to many obligations atm.

Listen, some people really needs some free time cause I've readt plenty of scientifical articles saying videogames cause brain issues at some age stages of development LMAO
