macro/micro nutrients is real, idk what you mean, but when you add "bro" and whatever else to it, you do make it sound less 'real' and very stupid.
other part.. if you started lifting and just did biceps then idk what you were thinking. highschool p.e. teaches compounds and snatches etc
you don't need to stretch to have proper form. you need light weight and the ability to listen to somebody who knows what they're doing.
Noooo I think my post was a tad misunderstood.
I guess I meant more paying attention to food quality.. Like now instead of pop tarts I'd have something like yams. I paid 0 attention to the quality of what I was eating and instead was just macro focused.
As for lifting, my PE never taught oly lifts lol, luckily I was a pretty big athlete in highschool so I worked out at a college and got taught them.. But my first probably 2 years of lifting were chest/tris, back/bis, shoulders/traps..... No legs, no deadlifting, definitely no cleans or snatches.. Totally "bro" lifting and isolation lifting.
That turned into stiffness in my shoulders and other parts of my body that made doing things like overhead squats very difficult and took me a bit of time to be able to do... I still have friends today that can bench like 365 but couldn't overhead squat 95 pounds cause their ankles, shoulders, hips are so stiff / non-mobile.. they literally can't get into the bottom position, they probably couldn't even do it with a broom stick. That's more what I meant.
