6' 2" here But 5'9" is average and I wouldn't consider that short.
Wouldn't worry about it girls like a guy that is 5' 11" over any other height, anything taller than about 6' is considered to tall by most women.

Maybe in Asia where the average male is 172cm but no way will any European girl find being 6 foot (182cm) "too tall"

Remember girls want to be able to wear their highest high heels and still be shorter than their man.


Ideal height is the 6'0-6'3 range (roughly 182-190cm)


I can, under no circumstance think of a reason why any girl would turn down a 185cm (6'1) guy for being too tall, but I can easily picture a 5'10 guy being too short.

the ONLY times I've ever heard some one being to tall is when they are 195+ range which is closer to 6'6, and in that case I agree. being that tall is impractical, makes you look lanky inherits all kinds of problems (sitting in cars, planes etc..)

Since I'd much rather trust real life experiences that silly statistics I've never really looked into these studies, but here's a couple of interesting finds after a quick google search:





the VAST majority prefers the 6'0-6'3 range with 6'1, 6'2, 6'0 and 5'11 (in that order) being the most preferred...

Now look how quickly it drops after 6'3... holy shit. Not surprised though.

Interesting to note that only 332 out of 41,958 votes think less than 5 foot 8 inches is ideal height.


Another study in Britain:




Apparently British women find 5'11 to be ideal while 5'4-6'3 being the "acceptable range".

I said anything over 6' is getting to tall, not that 6' was to tall.

kinda funny considering Brad Pitt is exactly 5' 11" and the girls are crazy for him.

Height has nothing to do with that. If you're one of the most handsome men on the planet (+ rich and famous) its not like being too short or too tall would harm your attractiveness in anyway. That would take polar-extremes; 5'0 and 7'2 for example

I' am 99% certain there isn't a single functioning female on the planet that would say no to an other wise handsome guy that is 6'1 for being too tall. Unless she's less than 5 foot, but then again, I said fully functioning female
