What would you say your workouts looked like week by week if you dont mind me asking? I am trying to lose some weight too and ive been doing 5 days a week with 3 of the 5 being workout days plus cardio. Just curious how you split your workouts up because clearly you have some killer results!

Depends on which part of my two years you want to know.

300-200lb I just lifted 6 days a week, cardio 7 days a week, aimed for healthy foods high in protein low in carbs, but didn't count macros and stayed away from fats.
I wish I could do it over with the knowledge I have know about nutrition and lifting.

I was not consistent with my nutrition and workouts until recently (September 2014 - see below - 200lb to 185lb I was strict)

Now I lift 5 days a week, no cardio, and count my macros.
Eat more calories on lifting days, less on rest.

Are you asking for my split because that isn't really "fixed either". In all depends on how I'm feeling and obviously I don't target the same area the next day or two. I don't do two push days in a row or two pulls in a row.

So usually I'll do Chest/Abs, Back/Traps's, Bi's/Tri's/Abs, Legs, Shoulders/Traps/Abs

So in a sense, I focus my abs every other day but obviously compound exercises on Back (deadlift) and Legs (squat) you are still going to hit your core.
If I had the time, I would do HIIT cardio (when cutting) on my rest day but I don't.

I am no expert and there are better people to ask :P
